But here's the thing. While single mothers struggle to keep their children alive,
They don't want our pity. What they dream of most is a good job that can sustain their families for good.
Many of the women we work with are uneducated and by default are excluded from good jobs. In fact, many women we encounter in the community can’t afford to take their children to average quality schools let alone miss a day at work. The harsh working conditions that come with many shoddy jobs are significant barriers to quality work for single mothers in poverty.
I have joined the Generosity Tribe because I see the direct and immediate impact of 92hands investing in people living in the poorest communities. I’m also excited and inspired to play a part in supporting the bigger vision to end extreme poverty.
As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.
