Building the Road Beyond COVID19 Report

Over 1000 families had lost their small businesses in Kosovo and Katanga alone. At the time of the first phase of the partial lift of the lockdown, it was estimated that about 2.5 Million Ugandan women would likely fall back into extreme poverty. The long lockdown adversely impacted families in the slums. Locked up for 5 months, unable to work, feeding their families on bread crumbs and on the verge of eviction, women were eventually forced to use their business capital to feed their children.

COVID19 Feeding Response Report

Refugees and people in slums are Running Out of Food. As COVID-19 spreads, we continue to feed those with no food. Refugees and vulnerable people living in the slums are in lockdown. COVID-19 is making it harder than ever to get the food they need. Friends digging through the trash for something to eat. Parents begging someone to take their children because they cannot feed them. 30,000+ are running out of food. You helped 5740 people get food.

Feeding Kosovo & Katanga 2018

Oh, what a delightful time of the year Christmas is! Families getting together, the lights, the decorations, presents under the tree and the wonderful Christmas feast we wait for all year long. It is a time for thanksgiving and celebration. Most would agree that Christmas has become so commercialized, so competitive and so impersonal, that we have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas and what it stands for. Of course, the first and foremost reason is the remembrance of the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ and most importantly, His perfect example of unconditional love, message of hope and His teachings on giving. That is what Christmas is all about.
